Hey there viewers,
It's the cusp of 2008!
Here are a few words of wisdom as you may or may not decide to make those resolutions.
Resolution #1: I will look younger this year.
There is no miracle in a jar. I hate to be so blunt, but sometimes we forget that it's about what we put in our bodies that affects how we look on the outside more than what we put on it.
Here are the top 5 simple rules to help slow down the aging process:
1.Get plenty of R&R and try to curb the stress where you can.
2.Drink lots of water.
3.Cut down on the alcohol and caffeine.
4.Exfoliate and moisturize.
5.Cut out the sugar!!!!!
Resolution #2: I will look my best in a bathing suit this year.
Now is definitely a great time to make sure that you hit the gym. Any new fat that you put on over the holidays is still new fat. New fat is easier to get rid of than old fat. Don't let that new fat turn into old fat.
Let me also give you a little perspective. If you drink one can of soda every day that is approximately 150 extra calories a day that your body is taking in.
That adds up to 15.6 potential extra pounds you are putting on your body each year.
You're also feeding your body distilled water with carbon dioxide and corn syrup.
There's not one useful thing about that equation. Don't even get me started on diet sodas. The artificial sweeteners used in the sodas have been known to fool the body into thinking it has taken in sugar. When the body goes to process the "sugar" it finds nothing there to burn. Then the body becomes even hungrier thus making you eat way more in the end than you would have to begin with.
I hope that these tips have given you a perspective on your choices for the year to come.If you have any tips or thoughts you would like to add please comment below.
Everyone have a safe and Happy New Year!!!!
xoxo Mary Schook
